ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Kapova Cave

Kapova Cave is a place deep underground where lots of rocks have different colors on them. It's like going on a treasure hunt for pretty stones! But, it's very dark down there, so you need a special light to see them. Many years ago, people who lived nearby looked for these colorful rocks and used them to make pretty pictures on the walls of the cave. They even made pictures of animals they saw outside the cave, like bears and horses. Scientists are now studying these pictures to learn about what life was like a long time ago. It's like reading a really old book, but instead of words, there are pictures!
