ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Karaim language

Okay kiddo, let me explain to you what Karaim language is. Karaim language is a language that people in some parts of Europe speak. You know how we speak English in America and some people speak Spanish in Mexico? Well, Karaim language is the language some people speak in Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine.

Karaim language has its own special alphabet and grammar rules. Just like how we learn our ABCs and how to put sentences together in English, people who speak Karaim language learn their own special letters and how to make sentences in their language.

There aren't many people who speak Karaim language anymore, but some people are working hard to keep it alive. They write books and create videos to help others learn the language so it doesn't disappear completely.

That's pretty much it! Karaim language is just a different way of talking that some people use in certain parts of Europe.
