Karl von Frisch

Karl von Frisch was a scientist who studied bees. He believed that bees were able to communicate with each other by doing a special type of dance called a waggle dance. He observed that when a bee returns to its hive after finding food, it will do a special dance which tells the other bees where the food is located. Because of his work, we now know that bees are able to communicate with each other and share important information about food supplies.
