Karlqvist gap

The Karlqvist gap is about one of those things we don't know. Scientists think that there's a certain kind of number that should be a prime, but they haven't been able to prove it yet. So there's a gap between the numbers that we know are primes and the ones that we think should be primes but we're not sure about.

It's kind of like having a puzzle with missing pieces. We know some of the pieces, but there's still a part of the puzzle that we haven't figured out yet. Scientists are working really hard to try to solve this puzzle and fill in the Karlqvist gap.
