Karnak

Karnak is a big place with lots of ancient buildings in Egypt that were built a very, very, very long time ago. They look like big stone puzzles with lots of rooms and tunnels. These buildings were used by the ancient Egyptians for praying to their gods and goddesses who they believed lived in these special buildings. People would come from all over to visit Karnak and make offerings to the gods to ask for help or good luck. Nowadays, many people visit Karnak to see the amazing temples and learn about the lives of the ancient Egyptians.
