Kienthal Conference
Once upon a time, a group of people called socialists wanted to talk about how to make the world a better place. They all got together in a little town called Kienthal in Switzerland.
They talked about how the rich people had too much power and the poor people had too little. They wanted to find a way to make things more fair.
They talked about making a really big group of all the socialists from all the countries in the world. They thought that then they could work together and make a better world.
They also talked about how war was very bad and they wanted to find a way to stop people from fighting. They decided that if everyone in the world was equal and had enough food, everyone would be happier and there would be no need to fight.
So they made a plan to try and make the world more fair and equal. They knew it would be hard, but they were determined to make it work. That's what the Kienthal Conference was all about!
