Kimberley Process Certification Scheme

The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) is an international agreement to make sure that the money from buying and selling diamonds isn't used to fund wars. The countries involved in the KPCS agree to only buy diamonds from other countries that have checked that the diamonds come from a source that hasn't been used to fund wars. This helps people know that the diamonds they buy were not made with money from bad people.
