Kinematic coupling

Kinematic coupling is like when you are playing with building blocks and you want to connect them together to make a structure. But you have to make sure they fit together just right, like puzzle pieces. That's what a kinematic coupling is! It's a special way to connect two objects so that they can move together really precisely.

It's kind of like a lock and key. You have to make sure the shape of the lock matches the shape of the key perfectly, or else it won't work. With a kinematic coupling, you have two parts that fit together in the same way. They might have little bumps or grooves that fit together perfectly, so that they can move in just the right way without slipping or wobbling around.

This kind of coupling is really useful for things like machines or tools, because you want them to be really precise and not move around too much. By using a kinematic coupling, you can make sure the parts fit together just right and stay in the right position even if there's some movement or stress on the system.
