King of the Hill (game)

King of the Hill is a game where there is a hill, maybe at a playground or a park, and people try to get to the top of the hill and stay there. They have to push and shove each other to try to get to the top and then they have to stay there to be the king.

Imagine you are playing in a sandpit with some other kids, and there is a big mound of sand in the middle. One person tries to climb up to the top of the mound and stand there, and the other kids try to push them back down. Whoever stands on top of the mound the longest without falling off is the winner and becomes the "king" of the hill.

It's kind of like a game of "sumo wrestling" but on a hill. You want to be the strongest and push the other players off the hill so you can be the king, but you also have to hold onto your position and not get pushed off yourself. It's a lot of fun and can be played with friends or at school during recess.
