ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Kingdom of Judah

The Kingdom of Judah was a really long time ago when people didn't have phones or computers. In fact, it was so long ago that people used to write on paper made from plants!

Back then, the Kingdom of Judah was ruled by kings. It was a place where a group of people called Jews lived. They were very special because they believed in one God, and they followed rules written down in a big book called the Torah.

The Kingdom of Judah was important because it was the place where the first temple was built. The temple was like a big building where people went to pray and worship their God. It was a place where people could go to be closer to God and to ask for help.

The Kingdom of Judah had a lot of ups and downs. Sometimes the kings were good and followed the rules, but other times they were bad and did things they weren't supposed to do.

Eventually, the Kingdom of Judah was taken over by other kingdoms and empires. But even though it doesn't exist anymore, the Kingdom of Judah is still remembered today as an important part of history and a symbol of faith for many people.
