Kingdom of Romania
Once upon a time, a long, long time ago in a place called Europe, there was a Kingdom named Romania. A kingdom is like a big family, but instead of your mom and dad being in charge, there's a king or queen who makes all the important decisions.
The Kingdom of Romania was ruled by a king named Carol I who became king in 1866. Carol I was very important to the people of Romania because he helped make the country better. He worked hard to make the government better and he also brought in a lot of modern ideas for farming and industry which helped to make many people's lives better.
Romania was a beautiful country with big mountains and forests, and the people who lived there were called Romanians. They had a special language, culture, and traditions that were unique to Romania.
The Kingdom of Romania lasted for many years until the second World War when things got very difficult. During the war, many countries fought against each other, including Romania. Eventually, Romania lost the war and was forced to join a different country for a while.
