In the game of kings, you play with a special set of cards called a deck. The deck has many different cards with different numbers and symbols on them.
To play, you need at least three people. Each person gets some cards, and you can't look at them yet. The rest of the cards are put in a pile in the middle.
The goal of the game is to get rid of all your cards before the other players. To do this, you take turns putting cards down and following the rules of the game.
One by one, each player takes a turn. They place a card face down on top of the pile in the middle, and they can say any number that they want. For example, if they have a card with a 3, they can say "three".
The next player has to put down a card with the next number. So if the first player said "three," the next player has to put down a card with a 4. If they don't have a 4, they have to pick up all the cards in the middle pile.
But there are some special cards that can change the game. One of them is the king. If you place down a king, it means that the direction of the game changes. Normally, the game goes clockwise, but with a king, it goes the other way. So if it was going to the left, then it starts going to the right.
Another special card is the ace. When someone places down an ace, the next player has to skip their turn and not put down a card.
There are other special cards with their own rules as well. For example, if someone puts down a queen, the next player has to draw two cards from the middle pile. And if someone puts down a jack, the next player has to pick up five cards.
The game continues like this until eventually, someone gets rid of all their cards. That person is the winner!
The important thing to remember is to pay attention to what cards others are putting down and to try and strategize which card to play so that you don't get stuck with extra cards.
