Okay, so you know how people have different kinds of feelings about other people (like thinking someone is cute or fun to be around)? And you know how some people like to kiss or hug or hold hands with others, while some don't really like that stuff? Well, there was a person called Alfred Kinsey, who was very interested in understanding these feelings and behaviors that people have.
Kinsey did a lot of research by asking people lots of questions about their feelings and behaviors. He talked to lots of different kinds of people, like young people, old people, and even prison inmates. He used what he learned to create reports that told us more about what people like and what they do in their relationships with others.
The Kinsey Reports were very important because they showed us that people can have all sorts of different feelings and behaviors, and that we should respect each other's choices and differences. Basically, everyone is different and it's okay to be different.
