Kludge

"Kludge" means when people use something in a way that it was not intended to be used or they use a bunch of weird, messed up pieces to make something work. It's like when you try to build a toy with broken parts or use a paperclip to hold your broken glasses together. A kludge isn't always the best solution, but sometimes it can be a creative shortcut when you don't have all the right tools or materials.
