Kobyz

Kobyz is a musical instrument from Kazakhstan that's made of wood and has two strings. You play it by holding it up to your chest and using a bow to make the strings vibrate and make sound. When you move the bow quickly across the strings, it makes a high-pitched sound, and when you move it slowly, it makes a low-pitched sound. People have been playing the kobyz for a very long time, and it's an important part of the music and culture of Kazakhstan. It can be a bit hard to learn how to play, but with practice, you can make beautiful music on a kobyz!
