Kodō (taiko group)

Kodō is a really cool group of people who play big drums called taiko. When they play the taiko drums, they all work together in a special way to make one beautiful sound.

Imagine you and your friends are standing in a circle holding hands and bouncing a big ball back and forth. Each time the ball comes to you, you add your bounce to it and throw it to your friend next to you. This is kind of like how Kodō works. Each time one person hits the taiko drum, they add their special sound to it and pass it on to their friends to add their sounds too.

Kodō has been playing taiko music for a long time and they have traveled all over the world to share their music with other people. They also wear really cool clothes and do special dances while they play the drums. When you listen to Kodō, it makes you feel really happy and excited because their music is so amazing!
