ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Korean Empire won

Okay kiddo, let me explain it to you like you're five years old. A long, long time ago in a country called Korea, there was a big fight between two groups of people. One group was called the Korean Empire and the other group was called the Japanese Empire.

Now, both of these groups wanted to win the fight and be in charge of Korea. They fought for a really long time, and it was very hard for both sides. But eventually, the Korean Empire was able to win the fight.

This means that they were the ones who became the rulers of Korea, and they were able to have more power and control over the country. It was a big victory for them and they were very happy that they had won the fight.

So that's what it means when we say that the Korean Empire won. They were able to beat the other side and become the leaders of Korea.
