Kruger National Park is a big place where lots of animals live and people come to visit.
In the 1960s, it was a bit different than it is now. There were fewer people coming to visit, and there were some animals that didn't live there anymore.
One of those animals was the rhinoceros. People used to shoot them for their horns, which made them very valuable. So, the rhinos had to be moved to a safer place where they wouldn't get hurt.
There were also some problems with too many elephants in the park. They were eating too much and damaging the plants, so some of them had to be moved to other parks as well.
But even with these problems, the park was still a very special place. People could see lions, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals that they had never seen before. And the animals were able to roam around in their natural habitats, which was very important.
Today, Kruger National Park is still a very special place, and many people come from all over the world to visit. But in the 1960s, it was a little different, and people had to work hard to make sure that the animals were safe and healthy.
