Kukeri is a special celebration that happens in parts of Bulgaria. During this celebration, people dress up in very big and fluffy costumes with masks on their faces. The costumes can look like animals or people, and are usually made out of wool or feathers.
These people then dance and march through their villages or towns, making lots of noise with bells and other instruments. They also stomp their feet and make lots of noises to scare away evil spirits, and to bring good luck for the upcoming year.
Kukeri goes all the way back to ancient times, and is an important part of Bulgarian culture. It's a really fun and exciting celebration for everyone who participates in it!
