Lévy Flight is a way for animals to find food efficiently. It's an interesting type of behavior because it looks like the animal is randomly traveling in different directions. But actually, the animal is balancing two competing needs--exploring new areas, and returning to areas it has already found with food. So, it will take some steps in one direction, and then take some steps in another direction. Over time, it will explore new areas and return to areas where it has already been rewarded with food.
