LGBT-affirming denominations in Judaism

Okay kiddo, so you know there are different kinds of religions, right? Well, in Judaism, some groups believe it's okay to love and marry someone of the same gender, and they call themselves "LGBT-affirming denominations."

Just like how you might have different opinions from your friends or family about something, these Jewish groups believe that everyone deserves love and respect, no matter who they love. They also believe that being LGBTQ+ is just a natural part of who someone is, and they want to make sure that everyone feels welcome and accepted in their synagogues, which are like Jewish churches.

Some of these groups even have special programs and ceremonies for people who are LGBTQ+ and want to feel even more connected to their Jewish community. They might have events for Pride Month or LGBTQ+ Jewish holidays, or even have LGBTQ+ rabbis and leaders.

Basically, these Jewish groups want to make sure that everyone feels like they belong and can practice their faith in a supportive and accepting environment, no matter who they are or who they love.
