Labour brokering (Southern Africa)

So imagine your mom and dad are building a puzzle. They need someone to help them finish the puzzle. They go to a place where they can borrow someone to help them. That place is called a labour broker.

A labour broker is like a helper agency that helps businesses or people find other people to work for them. They don't actually work for the labour broker, but the labour broker finds people and sends them to work for the business that needs help.

In Southern Africa, there are different rules about labour brokering. Some people say that it's not fair because the people who work for the labour broker don't always get the same benefits as the people who are actually employed by the business. They might not get paid as much or get good benefits like health insurance.

So some people want to change the rules and make it fairer for everyone. They want the people who work for labour brokers to get the same benefits and be treated the same as the other workers. That way, everyone can be happy and treated fairly.
