Labskaus

Labskaus is a dish that comes from northern Germany. It's made with potatoes, beef or corned beef, onions, and sometimes other vegetables like carrots or beetroot. The ingredients are boiled together until they are soft, then mashed up into a kind of paste or porridge.

Some people like to add pickled herring or other fish to the dish, which gives it a salty and tangy flavor. It's usually served with a fried egg on top, some pickles, and maybe some bread or crackers.

Think of it kind of like a mashed-up stew or soup that's been blended together. It might look a little weird, but it's actually really tasty and filling!
