Lacrimal caruncle

So, you know how when you cry, tears come out of your eyes? Well, there's a tiny little bump in the corner of your eye, kind of like a freckle, that's called the lacrimal caruncle. It's in charge of making some of the fluid that comes out when you cry. Think of it like a little factory that makes tears. It also has some tiny hairs growing on it that help keep dust and other things out of your eyes. So even though it's a small part of your body, the lacrimal caruncle actually helps keep your eyes healthy and happy!
