Lake-burst

Well kiddo, have you ever seen a cup of water overflow when it's too full? That's kind of like what happens with a lake-burst.

You see, sometimes a lot of water can build up in a lake, especially if it rains a lot or if there's a lot of snow melting nearby. If there's too much water, the lake can't hold it all and the water has to go somewhere.

When this happens, a big rush of water comes out of the lake and it can be really dangerous. It's kind of like when you pull the plug out of the bathtub and all the water rushes down the drain.

This can happen really fast and can cause a lot of damage to the land and buildings nearby. People need to be careful and move to higher ground if they hear that a lake-burst might happen.

It's important to pay attention to the weather and listen to the people who are in charge to stay safe from a lake-burst.
