Lambeth degree

A lambeth degree is a special award given to certain people by the Archbishop of Canterbury, who is a very important person in the church. It's kind of like a fancy diploma or certificate that says the person has done something really important for the church and deserves recognition for it.

To earn a lambeth degree, the person usually has to have worked really hard to help the church in some way, like by teaching others about the church or doing good things for people in need. It's not something that just anyone can get – you have to be invited by the Archbishop himself.

When someone gets a lambeth degree, it's a big deal and people in the church look up to them and respect them even more. It shows that the person is special and has done something really good for the church.
