Landfill tax

Okay kiddo, so remember when we talked about garbage? Well, when there is a lot of garbage, we need to put it somewhere, right? That place is called a landfill.

Now, sometimes people and companies create too much garbage and put it in the landfill. This makes a really big pile of garbage that can hurt the environment. To stop this from happening, the government makes a rule called a landfill tax.

The landfill tax means that people and companies have to pay extra money when they put their garbage in the landfill. This extra money is used by the government to help improve the environment and reduce the amount of garbage that goes into the landfill.

So basically, the landfill tax is a way to encourage people and companies to create less garbage and take care of the environment more. It’s like a little fee that helps to keep our planet clean and healthy.
