Lang Dulay

Lang Dulay was a very special lady who lived in a place called Lake Sebu in the Philippines. She was very famous for making beautiful cloth called T'nalak. She used the bark of a tree called the Abaca plant to make threads for the cloth.

But it wasn't just any kind of cloth. Lang Dulay used traditional methods to make it. She would use her own patterns and designs that have been passed down for generations. She would sit for hours and hours weaving the cloth on a loom.

People from all over the world admired her work and would travel just to see her and buy her T'nalak cloth. She became very famous and even received many awards for her skills in weaving.

Lang Dulay was a very important part of her community and helped keep traditional weaving techniques alive. Even though she has passed away, her legacy and beautiful creations live on, and people still continue to use her designs and techniques in their own work.
