Laser beam quality

A laser is like a magical flashlight that shoots out a beam of light that is all the same color and stays together in a straight line for a long time. Laser beam quality is like how good the laser beam is at staying in that straight line and how much the color stays the same. Kind of like when you draw with a marker and if it's a good marker, the color is always the same and the line stays straight. A good laser beam has a high beam quality, which means it stays in a straight line for a long time and the color is always the same.
