Laser medicine

Laser medicine is when doctors use special beams of light called lasers to help fix problems in your body. Lasers are like super powerful flashlights that can focus their light really tightly.

For example, if you have a problem with your skin, like a birthmark or a scar, the doctor can use a laser to carefully remove just the extra skin or pigment without hurting the rest of your skin.

Laser medicine can also be used for things like eye surgery or to clean out plaque in your arteries. It's a really cool way that doctors can use light to help you feel better!
