Laser trimming

Have you ever wanted a toy but it doesn't fit perfectly? Laser trimming is a process that fixes things that aren't perfect. It's like when you make a drawing but then you erase some parts and redraw them better. Only instead of erasers and pencils, we use powerful lasers that can remove tiny bits of material to make things fit perfectly.

Let's say you have a toy car with a part that sticks out too much. You take the car to a special machine that has a laser inside. The laser is like a very, very bright light that can cut things. The machine moves the toy car so that the laser shines on the part that needs to be fixed. The laser removes just a tiny bit of material, so the part becomes a bit smaller. Every time this happens, we get closer to the perfect fit.

Laser trimming is not just for toys. We use it for things like electronic components too. When people make electronic parts, sometimes they don't make them exact enough. Laser trimming helps fix that. We focus the laser on the part and remove just a tiny bit of material until it works perfectly.

So that's laser trimming. It's like using a superpowerful eraser to fix things that aren't quite right.
