Lattice mast

A lattice mast is like a really tall tower made out of metal sticks that are all connected together. It's kind of like a big spiderweb that goes up into the sky. The mast is used to support things like antennas, which help send signals for things like TV and radio. The reason the mast is made out of lots of little sticks is because it makes it strong, but also light enough so it doesn't fall over. Plus, it makes it easier to build because you don't have to lift really heavy pieces all at once. Think of it like building a really tall tower out of Legos. Lots of little pieces make it strong and easier to build.
