ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Law and Society Association

The Law and Society Association is a group of people who are interested in understanding how laws and rules influence the behavior of people in society. Imagine you are playing a game with your friends and someone makes a new rule. That rule changes how everyone plays the game and how they interact with each other. The Law and Society Association looks at rules and laws in the same way, but instead of a game they look at how laws impact real life situations. They study how laws are made, how they are enforced and how people follow them. This group of people includes researchers, lawyers, judges, and other professionals who are interested in understanding the relationship between laws and society. They want to make sure that laws are fair and just for everyone.
