Lech-Lecha

"Lech-lecha" is a Hebrew phrase from the Bible that means "Go forth" or "Go ahead." It's a story about a man named Abram who lived a very long time ago. God told Abram to leave his home and go on a journey to a new land that God promised to give to him and his family.

So Abram trusted God and went on this long journey with his wife Sarai and his nephew Lot. They traveled through different places and faced many challenges along the way, but God was always with them.

Eventually, they arrived in the land that God had promised to give to Abram, which was called Canaan. God told Abram that all of this land would one day belong to his descendants.

So Abram built an altar to thank God for his blessings and continued to trust in God's promises. And that's the story of "Lech-lecha" – of Abram's faith in God and his journey to the land of Canaan.
