Lechazo de Castilla y León

"Lechazo de Castilla y León" is a special type of meat that comes from baby lambs that live in a place called Castilla and León. The lambs are very young, only a few weeks old, which means that their meat is very tender and tasty.

To make "Lechazo de Castilla y León," farmers take care of the baby lambs by feeding them only their mom's milk until they are old enough to eat some grass. They let the lambs grow up outside in fields where they can run around and play.

When the lambs are old enough, they are taken to a special place to be cooked. Cooks use a special oven called a "hornor" that is made out of clay bricks. They put the lambs into the oven and cook them for a few hours with some special spices and herbs.

Once the lamb is cooked, it is ready to be enjoyed! People usually eat it with potatoes or bread, and maybe some vegetables. It's a special dish that people in Castilla and León are very proud of because it's so delicious and comes from their own region.
