Legal plunder

Legal plunder is when the government takes away your money and property without asking your permission. It is like stealing, but instead of a person or group of people taking your things, it is the government. It usually happens when the government passes laws that say it is allowed to take certain things from people and use it for things like building roads or other public projects.
