ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Legibility

Legibility means how easy it is to read something. You know how some letters are easier to read than others? Good legibility means using letters that are easy to read. This makes people happy because they can read faster and understand what they’re reading better. It's like when you write neatly and others can easily read what you wrote. The opposite of legibility is when someone writes in a way that’s hard to read – that’s called poor legibility, and nobody likes that. So it's important to use clear and easy-to-read handwriting or fonts to make sure that everyone can read what you wrote.
