ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Legislative violence

Legislative violence means when people in the government who make laws use their power and influence to hurt other people, like their opponents or people who disagree with them. It's kind of like when kids at school use their popularity to bully other kids or make fun of them. It's not nice and can hurt people's feelings and sometimes even cause physical harm. In the case of legislative violence, it can cause harm to people's rights and freedoms, and make it harder for them to live a happy and healthy life. It's important for people who make laws to be fair and listen to everyone's opinions and not use their power to hurt others.
