Leifeng Pagoda is a very special pagoda in China. A long, long time ago, there was a great warrior who lived in China. His name was Qian Liu, and he was very brave. One day, Qian Liu was out on a boat ride with his friends when they came across a white snake. The white snake was in trouble and Qian Liu knew he had to help.
He bravely rescued the white snake and brought it back to shore. Little did he know that the white snake was actually a magical creature who could transform into a beautiful woman named Bai Suzhen. Bai Suzhen was so grateful to Qian Liu for saving her life that she fell in love with him.
But, there was a powerful monk who didn't want Bai Suzhen and her snake sister to stay in the city. So, he used his magic to create a terrible flood that destroyed the city. Bai Suzhen tried to save Qian Liu, but in the end, she was caught by the monk and trapped under a pagoda called Leifeng Pagoda.
Years went by and the pagoda sat there, old and quiet, until one day a man named Yue Fei discovered it. He wondered what secrets the pagoda held, so he decided to investigate. When he climbed to the top of the pagoda, he found a hidden chamber. In that chamber, he found a box that contained a white snake.
The box was opened and the snake transformed into Bai Suzhen. She was finally free! Bai Suzhen and Qian Liu were united once again, and they lived happily ever after.
Today, Leifeng Pagoda still stands in China and it's a popular tourist attraction. People come from all over to see the tower and learn about the legend of Qian Liu, Bai Suzhen, and the white snake.
