Leshan Giant Buddha

The Leshan Giant Buddha is a huge stone statue of a Buddha in Sichuan, China. It was made by carving into the side of a mountain more than 1,200 years ago. The Buddha is over 233 feet tall and is the biggest carved stone Buddha in the world. People come to visit the statue because it is a very special and important part of Chinese history, culture, and religion.
