ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Lewis–Mogridge position

The Lewis–Mogridge Position is a way of looking at how people make decisions in their everyday lives. It says that people think about all the possible choices they have and try to decide which one will make them the happiest or most fulfilled. They weigh the pros and cons of each option, think about what the results might be, and compare the outcomes for each choice. It’s based on an idea that people have an internal compass that guides them as they make choices. The position also assumes that people have a good understanding of themselves and their values, and they try to make choices that are aligned with those values.
