Library and information science

Library and information science is all about helping people find the information they need. It's like being a detective and a librarian all in one! Librarians use libraries to help people find information about anything from history and science, to books and music. They use computer databases and specialized websites, as well as other sources, to help people find the information they're looking for. Library and information science studies help librarians know how to organize all this information and how to use it to help people easily find what they need.
