ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Limbic regulation

Limbic regulation is the way our brain helps us control our emotions and behavior. Our brain has different parts that do different things, and the limbic system is the part that helps with our emotions. It receives input from our senses and then sends out signals to our body to tell us how to act and feel. For example, when you feel scared, your limbic system sends a signal to your body to start trembling and to increase your heart rate.
