ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Limited good

Okay kiddo, have you ever been to a birthday party or a sleepover and someone brings out a big bag of candy? It's so exciting, right? But then you start to notice that there are only a certain number of pieces of candy in the bag. There's only so much to go around. That's kind of like what limited good means.

You see, in life there are things that we all want, like money, good grades, or even toys. But there's only so much of these things to go around. That means that when one person gets some, there's less left over for everyone else.

This can make some people feel worried or even jealous. They might worry that they won't get a fair share of the limited good, or that someone else will get more than they do. But it's important to remember that just because there's only limited good to go around, it doesn't mean that we should be mean or greedy. Instead, we should be happy for others when they get some, and work together to make sure that everyone gets a fair share.

So whenever you come across a situation where there's only a limited amount of something, remember that it's not something to fight over or feel bad about. Instead, try to work together to make the best of what's available, and you'll find that there's still plenty of good to go around for everyone.
