Limited slip differential

Okay kiddo, do you know how cars have wheels that spin when they move? Well, in some cars there is a special part called a differential that helps the wheels to spin at different speeds when the car turns.

A limited slip differential is like a special kind of differential that helps the wheels to have more grip on the road. When a car turns, the wheels on the inside of the turn have to spin slower than the ones on the outside. But if the inside wheel doesn't have enough grip, it might start to slip and make the car slide or skid.

A limited slip differential helps to prevent this from happening by making sure that both wheels have enough grip. It does this by using special clutch plates or gears that can transfer some of the power from the slipping wheel to the one with more grip. This means that both wheels can work together to keep the car going in the right direction, even when the road is slippery or bumpy.

So, a limited slip differential is like a superhero for your car's wheels, helping them to work together and stay on the road, even when it's tricky.
