Living will

It says things like whether you want to use machines to help you breathe or eat if you can't do it on your own. It can also say what kind of treatments you don't want to receive if they don't seem like they're helping you get better.

A living will is important so that your family and doctors know what you want to happen. It helps them make decisions that are what you would have chosen if you could still talk and think clearly. You can talk to your parents or a lawyer to help you create a living will that says what you want to happen if you ever become very sick and can't make decisions for yourself anymore.
