Logical effort

Logical effort is a way to figure out how hard it will be to build something like a machine or piece of software. It uses numbers to help decide how long it might take or how much effort (work) will be needed to assemble or create the thing. The numbers help people figure out what parts they need and how hard it will be to build the thing.
