Lolland Hydrogen Community is a project to help reduce pollution by using clean energy sources like hydrogen power. Hydrogen power is a type of energy where hydrogen, a naturally occurring element, is used as fuel. The project will create a community of about 800 homes on the Island of Lolland in Denmark that will be powered by hydrogen, instead of coal or gas which create a lot of pollution in the atmosphere. The project will use a combination of wind and solar energy to create the hydrogen fuel, as well as a fuel cell which will turn the hydrogen gas into electricity that can be used in homes and businesses. The hope is that this project will show the world that it is possible to create clean energy and help reduce the amount of pollution in the atmosphere.
