Low energy building

A low energy building is a building that uses less energy than a regular building. It does this by using lots of insulation so heat doesn't escape and by using special windows and doors to keep out cold air from the outside. It also uses special, energy efficient lighting, appliances, and air conditioning systems to use less energy. All of these things help the building use less energy, which saves money and helps the environment!
