Low-impact development (UK)

Low-impact development (UK) is a way of building new developments in our towns and cities while making sure they don't damage the environment. It includes using methods that reduce flooding, protect wildlife, and save energy, like planting trees and building green roofs with gardens on them. Building this way also helps to keep our towns and cities looking nice and green - full of plants and wildlife - rather than lots of grey concrete and buildings.
